Korean War:   June 25, 1950 - January 31, 1955

WW II:   December 7, 1941 - December 31, 1946

WW I:   April 6, 1917 - November 11,1918

Eligibility Requirements

Program of our Post - Not all Posts have an ALR

American Legion Riders - ALR

Members of the American Legion Family of this Post or any other Post wishing to ride their own motorcycle with other Legion Family Members.  Legion family members come together to share a common love for motorcycles. American Legion Riders chapters are well known for their charitable work, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded service members and scholarships. Since 2006, Riders nationwide have participated in The American Legion Legacy Run to annually raise money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, established to provide scholarships to children of U.S. military personnel killed since Sept. 11, 2001.


  Our ALR meets  on the last Thursday of the month at 7 pm.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 47

Eligibility Requirements

Membership in The American Legion Auxiliary shall be limited to the grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion, and to the grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, and direct and adopted female descendants of all men and women who were in the Armed Forces of the United States during any of the  periods  found below and died in the line of duty during such service, or who, having received an Honorable Discharge, died after service.  If the Veteran is still alive, he/she must be a member of the Legion in order for his/her relatives to be eligible.

A woman who is eligible for The American Legion membership is also eligible to join The American Legion Auxiliary regardless of whether or not she is a member of The American Legion. However, eligibility of her female relatives (sister, mother, direct decedents) depends upon her membership in The American Legion.

 Annual Cost of Membership is $25.

The Auxiliary meets on the 2d Monday of the month at 7 pm.  All members are invited to attend.



Legionnaires (Veterans)

Eligibility Requirements

If you have served federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces during any of the war eras (eligibility dates) listed below, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving -- you are eligible for membership in The American Legion!

*Because eligibility dates remain open, all members of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to join The American Legion at this time, until the date of the end of hostilities as determined by the government of the United States.

**U.S. Merchant Marine eligible only from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 (WWII).

Annual membership dues:  $40.

The General Post meeting is held on the 2d Wednesday of the month (except in July) at 7 pm.  All members are invited to attend.

All male descendants, adopted sons and stepsons of members of  The American Legion, and such male descendants of veterans who died in Service during World I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, the Persian Gulf War and the War on Terrorism, during the delimiting periods set forth in Article IV, Section 1, of the National Constitution of The American Legion, or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service, shall be eligible for Membership in the Sons of The American Legion.

Annual membership dues are just $30.

The SAL meets on the 3d Tuesday of the month at 7 pm.
